The RM of Weyburn offers a Dust Control Program. Please note that the RM does not subsidize this program—applicants are required to pay 100% of the cost of the dust control application.
We will be using MG30, a blend of calcium chloride and magnesium hydroxide, which has proven effective in previous years as both a dust suppressant and soil stabilizer.
Cost is calculated based on the length and width of the requested site, number of litres that are applied, the water fee, plus GST.
To participate, a Dust Control Agreement must be completed and returned to the RM Office by May 1, 2025. If we do not receive your completed form by this date, it will be assumed you do not wish to receive dust control services.
