Public Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 207 of The Planning and Development Act, 2007 that the Rural Municipality of Weyburn No. 67 intends to adopt Bylaw No. 8-2026, a bylaw to amend the Municipality’s Zoning Bylaw.
Description
Amending Section 7.5 Subdivision and Site Regulations by adding the following clause immediately following clause 3.
“.4 That council by resolution reduce setbacks where circumstances dictate. Where it does not interfere with the safety and amenity of adjacent sites.”
Zoning District Map shall be amended by re-zoning from AG – Agricultural Resource District to CR – Country Residential for the following property SE 26-8-14 W2 Lot Y as shown by the bold broken line on the map below.
Examination of Bylaws
Any interested person may inspect the Bylaw at the RM office at 1633 1st Ave NE in Weyburn, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., excluding statutory holidays. Copies of the bylaw are available at cost. In addition, the Bylaw, can be found on our website at www.rmweyburn.ca.
Public Hearing
Council will be holding a public hearing on November 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the R.M. Council Chambers, 1633 1st Ave NE. in Weyburn, to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the municipal office before the hearing.
